- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup sliced salami
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup diced provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing the seams to create a solid base that goes slightly up the sides.
- In a large bowl, mix together the salami, pepperoni, provolone, green bell pepper, red onion, olives, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Spread the antipasto mixture evenly over the bottom crust.
- Place the remaining crescent roll dough over the filling (flat or in a lattice pattern) and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the top dough with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the dish cool for 10 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a cleaner cut, ensure you let the squares rest for at least 10 minutes after baking.
- If the top crust browns too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil for the final minutes of baking.
- You can customize the filling with ham, banana peppers, or roasted red peppers.
