Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake Dip is a dream treat!

A creamy, light, and fluffy dessert dip that tastes exactly like a banana cream pie in cheesecake form. Perfect for parties and easy to whip up in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon banana extract (optional, but recommended)
  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)
  • Sliced bananas, for serving
  • Graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzel sticks, for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Add the powdered sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, and banana extract. Mix until well combined and lump-free.
  3. Gently fold in the mashed banana until evenly distributed.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping until combined, then fold in the crushed graham crackers.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and smooth the top. Garnish with extra graham cracker crumbs and mini chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled with sliced bananas, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzel sticks.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened at room temperature to avoid a lumpy dip.
  • For the best flavor, use a very ripe banana with brown spots.
  • If making ahead of time, wait to add the sliced banana garnish until just before serving to prevent browning.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a slightly tangier profile.
