Cup Muffins: Easy Recipe for Fluffy Results.

A simple and versatile recipe for fluffy cup muffins that can be customized with your choice of chocolate chips, blueberries, or nuts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mix-ins (chocolate chips, blueberries, or nuts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a standard muffin tin with paper liners or grease it well.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently stir with a spatula until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Fold in your chosen mix-ins (chocolate chips, blueberries, or nuts).
  6. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter to ensure a fluffy texture.
  • Fill muffin cups only 2/3 full to prevent overflowing.
  • Standard mix-ins include chocolate chips, fresh blueberries, or chopped walnuts.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
