A classic summer staple featuring fresh corn on the cob slathered in a smoky garlic butter and grilled to perfection with beautiful char marks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped for garnish (optional)
  • Lime wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Husk the corn, remove all silk, and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Slather each ear of corn generously with the seasoned butter mixture.
  5. Place the corn directly on the grill grates and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, turning every few minutes until charred and tender.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last few minutes of grilling.
  7. Remove from grill, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure the grill is fully preheated to get the best char marks.
  • For a dairy-free version, use a plant-based butter substitute.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the butter mix.
