Grilled Salmon with Herbs: Fast and Flavorful!

A fast and flavorful grilled salmon recipe featuring a fresh herb marinade of dill, parsley, and thyme, perfect for a healthy and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over them, and let them marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grates. Place the salmon skin-side down and grill for 4 to 6 minutes without moving.
  5. Gently flip the fillets and grill for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the grill and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Do not over-marinate the salmon as the lemon juice can begin to 'cook' the fish.
  • To prevent sticking, ensure the grill is fully preheated and the grates are well-oiled.
  • Salmon is best served when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
