- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over them, and let them marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Lightly oil the grill grates. Place the salmon skin-side down and grill for 4 to 6 minutes without moving.
- Gently flip the fillets and grill for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Do not over-marinate the salmon as the lemon juice can begin to 'cook' the fish.
- To prevent sticking, ensure the grill is fully preheated and the grates are well-oiled.
- Salmon is best served when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
