Pineapple Lemonade: The Best Refreshing Recipe.

A refreshing and vibrant tropical drink that combines the sweetness of fresh pineapple with the zesty tang of lemons. Perfect for hot summer days and easy to make from scratch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fresh pineapple by removing the skin and core, then chop into small chunks and place in a blender.
  2. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the blender.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove pulp, pressing down on solids to extract all juice.
  5. Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  8. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes, garnished with mint leaves and lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace cold water with club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
  • If using a very sweet pineapple, you may want to reduce the added sugar.
  • Ensure you use fresh lemons rather than bottled juice for the best flavor profile.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
