- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (for dipping, optional)

- Grease a large mixing bowl and a baking sheet with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
