- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup milk of your choice (whole, almond, oat, etc.)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
- Brew your favorite coffee and let it cool completely to room temperature or chill it in the refrigerator.
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream and milk. Use a hand mixer or whisk to whip the mixture until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream mixture until well combined and fluffy.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour in the cooled coffee until it is about three-quarters full.
- Spoon a generous amount of the strawberry cold foam over the coffee.
- Garnish with a fresh strawberry if desired, stir, and serve.
Notes
- For a thicker foam, ensure the heavy cream is very cold before whipping.
- If you prefer a sugar-free version, substitute the sugar with monk fruit or stevia.
- Do not over-whip the cream to avoid making strawberry butter.
- Leftover strawberry puree can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
