Cheesy Garlic Biscuit Bombs: The Ultimate Comfort Snack

These irresistible golden nuggets are made from flaky biscuit dough stuffed with gooey melted mozzarella cheese. Each bite is brushed with a savory garlic butter glaze and sprinkled with fresh herbs for a perfect pull-apart snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 8 to 10 count
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Small microwave-safe bowl
  • Pastry Brush
  • Chef Knife
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate each individual biscuit.
  3. Use your fingers to flatten each biscuit into a small circle about 3 inches wide.
  4. Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough circle.
  5. Carefully wrap the dough around the cheese and pinch the edges firmly to seal the ball.
  6. Place the cheese-stuffed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl combine the melted butter minced garlic dried parsley and salt.
  8. Use a pastry brush to coat the top of each biscuit bomb with half of the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tops of the buttered biscuits.
  10. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and immediately brush the remaining garlic butter over the hot biscuits.
  12. Serve warm while the cheese inside is still melted and stretchy.

Notes

Ensure the dough is pinched tightly at the bottom to prevent the cheese from leaking out during baking.
You can add a pepperoni slice inside each bomb for a quick pizza-style variation of this snack.
Freshly minced garlic provides a much stronger and better flavor than garlic powder in the butter glaze.
These are best enjoyed immediately but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes to restore the crunch.
